Do you instruct for posing? I’m awkward/unphotogenic.

Look, I totally get it. Most of us aren’t models, so it’s no surprise whenever someone tells me they’re awkward on camera or never look good in photos. I feel that way sometimes as well. Do you know what I say to them? Embrace it! Allow yourself to be weird even just for a moment. Those tend to be my favourite photos. My goal in any shoot is to put everyone at ease and make them feel comfortable. While I am known to be spontaneous, I’m also flexible and easygoing. My approach to direction is stress-free and I encourage a little bit of silliness. But yes, I absolutely do provide direction wherever need. I hope that you have fun.

How long will it take to get my photos?

At least, within a week. At most, within a month.

How do I get my photos?

Your photos will be delivered to you in an online gallery.

Do you deliver RAW files?

I shoot and edit every photo session in RAW to ensure the maximum amount of exposure and colour information is available for my editing. However, I deliver edited and finished high-resolution JPEG files and do not include RAW files. If you are extremely interested in having the RAW files, these are available with an additional fee and agreement.

What is your availability?

As of right now, I’m available on weekends only.

How do you prefer to communicate?

While you may contact me on Instagram, I think it’s important for me to be able to keep track of all my correspondence in one place, and for this reason, email is my preferred medium.

Will my photos show up on your website/socials?

As a photographer, it’s essential for me to be able to show my existing body of work to attract new clients and illustrate what I can do. Typically, you can expect to see highlights from my shoots with you show up on my website, portfolio, and social media. If you wish to not have your photos shown, let me know.

What is your pay rate?

Pricing is based on a case-by-case scenario; dependent on the type of shoot, among other factors such as location, travel, equipment, hiring assistants, et cetera. With that being said, please refer to the following:

Portraits/Headshots: Starts at $200

Couples: Starts at $300

Family: Starts at $400

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept online payments, direct bank transfers, and/or cash/cheque.

Am I allowed to put my photos online?

Absolutely! I only ask that anywhere that you share my images you would credit or tag me or my website to provide credit for the artwork I have created and that if uploading to a service like Instagram that you would not apply filters overtop the carefully crafted edits I have provided for you.

Do you have a photography studio?

At the moment, I do not own a photography studio. If you wish to have a photo shoot within a studio setting, that can certainly be arranged.

How long is the photo shoot?

My photo shoots typically take about an hour or two. Of course, you may request a longer session.

Can I bring a friend to accompany me?

By all means. Should you need a friend to accompany you for moral support, you may do so.

Do you take photos of furry friends?

Absolutely.
